Backend Engineer (Go + Postgres)
Own slices of a Go + chi + Postgres modular monolith — invoicing, GST returns, reconciliation, jobs. Server-rendered HTML over HTMX, sqlc + RLS, real transactional work.
- Build and harden domain slices (invoices, purchases, GSTR-1/2B/3B, payments) end-to-end
- Write SQL migrations and sqlc queries with RLS-safe tenant scoping
- Grow the background job pipeline (Postgres outbox, PDF rendering, mail)
- Keep the quality bar: race-enabled tests, golangci-lint, integration suites
- 2+ years building production Go services; comfort with chi or an equivalent router
- Solid Postgres: transactions, row locks, RLS, query planning
- Comfort doing full-stack-lite work in html/template + HTMX (no SPA frameworks here)
- Bonus: prior work on Indian tax, accounting, or fintech domains

Customer Support Engineer
Be the human our customers actually talk to. SMB owners and CAs hit real compliance deadlines — you unblock them fast over email and WhatsApp, and feed patterns back into the product.
- Own the support inbox: triage, reproduce, resolve or escalate
- Write help docs for common workflows (invoice finalize, 2B upload, return downloads)
- Track recurring issues and hand engineering a prioritized list weekly
- Onboard beta users 1:1 — walk them through their first real return
- 1+ year in customer support for a B2B software product
- Clear written English; Hindi or a South Indian language is a strong plus
- Basic comfort reading technical docs and following reproduction steps
- Patience with non-technical small-business users

Product Designer
Design server-rendered flows that a first-time internet user on a 4-year-old phone can complete without help. Dense forms, print templates, reconciliation views — all without a SPA.
- Map and simplify core flows: invoice creation, quotation share, 2B reconciliation
- Maintain the design token system (CSS custom properties, no component library)
- Prototype in plain HTML/CSS — what you design is what ships
- Audit every screen at small viewports and slow connections
- 2+ years designing web products, at least one with real form complexity
- Fluent HTML/CSS; you can build your own prototypes
- Portfolio showing work for non-expert users
- Bonus: experience designing for Indian SMB / vernacular audiences

- Is remote / hybrid available?
- Remote-friendly for engineering and support roles. We care about shipped work and clear communication, not seat time.
- What are the working days + hours?
- Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST, with flexibility around real deadlines like return-filing dates.
- Are freshers welcome?
- For the Backend Engineer role — yes, provided you have demonstrable Go or Postgres project work. Support and design roles need at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- What's the compensation range?
- Competitive, benchmarked against the Bengaluru market for the role + experience level. We share specifics on the intro call after a basic fit check — no point negotiating in the abstract.
- How fast does the process move?
- 10 days end-to-end is our target. Apply → response in 3 working days → intro call in week 1 → working round in week 2 → verbal offer within 48 hours of the final round.
